Lovely little place, family run business with a couple of tables and chairs for dine-in Tried out the samosa chaat and it was perfect! The service was quick and owner was polite and approachable. The prices are reasonable for the size of the portions
Authentic and high quality. I have visited India, Sri Lanka and parts of the Middle East where Indian food is a staple, and this is definitely the closest to the real thing that I have sampled in Newport. Most restaurants offer British versions of Indian dishes. This is proper Indian.
Very tasty food. Nanu and Gugu are the friendly owners that do a great job preparing the food in a traditional way. It's possible to have your food extra spicy on request. The aubergine dish and the punjabi i can definately recommend.

This is real last meal on earth territory for me. The most sensation Indian food I’ve ever tasted, loads and loads of choice for vegetarians and vegans alike (plus dishes for those who prefer to eat meat). Always of a consistently high standards and all skilfully homemade by Master. Try the channa masala with a homemade aloo paratha-heaven!
